Sky High Expo Car Show Rules & Restrictions

The Sky High Expo Car Show is part of the larger Sky High Expo and is intended to be a safe, family-friendly, professionally operated event environment held on airport property. All participants, drivers, passengers, and guests are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and comply with all event rules, safety requirements, and instructions from Sky High Expo staff, event officials, security personnel, airport representatives, and law enforcement.

These rules are in place to protect participants, spectators, event operations, aircraft, airport property, and the overall guest experience.

Important Notice

Sky High Expo reserves the right to interpret, enforce, modify, or apply these policies at its sole discretion as necessary to protect safety, event operations, airport property, and the family-friendly nature of the event.

Any participant or attendee who violates event rules, engages in unsafe or disruptive behavior, refuses staff instructions, or is asked to leave the event grounds for any reason related to conduct or policy enforcement will be removed without refund.

Quick Rules at a Glance

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Pop-up tents, canopies, or unauthorized shade structures

• Outside alcohol

• Glass containers of any kind, regardless of contents

• Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia

• Loud music or amplified audio that interferes with event operations, announcements, or the experience of others

• Burnouts, reckless driving, excessive revving, speeding, or stunt driving

• Cruising, looping, or repeated unnecessary vehicle movement through the event area

• Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas

• Open flames, fireworks, or incendiary devices

• Vulgar, obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, or political signs, displays, music, messaging, apparel, or behavior

• Any conduct that is disruptive, threatening, unsafe, or inconsistent with a family-friendly event environment

Important to know:

• All vehicles must remain in their assigned display area unless directed otherwise by event staff

• All participants are responsible for the conduct of their passengers, guests, and anyone accompanying their vehicle

• Event staff may require you to lower music, remove a prohibited item, correct a violation, relocate your vehicle, or leave the property

• Failure to comply with staff instructions may result in immediate removal without refund

Full Rules & Participant Conduct Policy

1. Family-Friendly Event Environment

The Sky High Expo Car Show is intended to be a family-friendly public event. All participants and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and appropriate manner at all times.

Sky High Expo reserves the right to remove any person, vehicle, or group whose behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, threatening, disorderly, or otherwise inconsistent with the event’s family-oriented atmosphere.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Aggressive, hostile, or abusive behavior

• Harassment, intimidation, or threatening language

• Excessive profanity or disorderly conduct

• Conduct that interferes with event operations, emergency access, announcements, or airport activity

• Any behavior deemed unsafe or inappropriate by event management

2. Event Staff Authority & Enforcement

Sky High Expo staff, event officials, security personnel, and law enforcement have full authority to interpret and enforce all event rules, safety requirements, and conduct standards.

By participating in or attending the car show, you agree that:

• You will follow all verbal and written instructions issued by event staff

• You will immediately comply if directed to move, lower music, remove an item, correct a violation, or leave the property

• Event staff may deny entry, relocate vehicles, restrict activities, or remove any person or vehicle at their sole discretion when necessary for safety, operations, or policy enforcement

3. Removal Without Refund

Any participant or attendee removed from the event grounds for violating event rules, misconduct, unsafe behavior, prohibited items, failure to follow staff instructions, or any other policy violation will not receive a refund of registration fees, admission fees, or any other event-related purchase.

No exceptions will be made for removal related to:

• Disorderly or aggressive conduct

• Alcohol or drug violations

• Refusal to follow staff instructions

• Prohibited items or unauthorized setup

• Unsafe driving or disruptive behavior

• Conduct inconsistent with the family-friendly nature of the event

4. No Outside Alcohol

Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. No participant, passenger, or guest may bring, possess, distribute, or consume outside alcoholic beverages anywhere on event property, including the car show area, parking areas, or surrounding event grounds.

Any person found in possession of outside alcohol or consuming alcohol in violation of event policy may be removed from the event without refund.

5. No Glass Containers

Glass containers of any kind are prohibited on event grounds, regardless of contents. This restriction is in place for the safety of guests, participants, vehicles, aircraft, airport property, and event personnel.

Any glass container brought onto event property must be removed immediately upon request.

6. No Drugs or Illegal Substances

Sky High Expo maintains a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs, unlawfully possessed controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.

Any participant or attendee found possessing, using, distributing, or appearing to be under the influence of illegal drugs or prohibited substances may be removed from the event immediately and may be referred to law enforcement when appropriate.

7. Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in restricted areas and may not occur in a manner that creates a nuisance, safety concern, fire hazard, or conflict with event operations, nearby vehicles, spectators, vendors, or airport property.

Sky High Expo reserves the right to designate smoking areas or prohibit smoking/vaping in all event-controlled spaces if necessary for safety or crowd management.

8. No Pop-Up Tents, Canopies, or Unauthorized Shade Structures

Pop-up tents, canopies, and similar freestanding shade structures are not permitted in the car show area.

Due to limited space, crowd flow, vehicle placement, wind exposure, and the proximity of aircraft, vendors, pedestrians, and active event operations, these items create unnecessary safety and operational hazards. Tents and canopies may obstruct visibility, emergency access, and event movement areas, and may become dangerous if weather or wind conditions change.

Participants may not erect or place any tent, canopy, or similar structure unless specifically authorized by Sky High Expo in writing.

9. Loud Music, Amplified Audio & Sound Interference

Participants may not play loud music, amplified audio, or other sound-producing equipment in a manner that interferes with event atmosphere, public announcements, safety messaging, airshow commentary, emergency communications, or the experience of other attendees.

Sky High Expo is a live event operating in coordination with car show activities, aviation operations, event announcements, and public safety communication. For that reason:

• Excessive music volume is prohibited

• Audio systems may not be used in a way that competes with or overrides event sound

• Event staff may require any participant to lower or shut off music immediately

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

10. Vehicle Operation, Parking & Movement Restrictions

All vehicles must be operated in a safe and controlled manner at all times while on event property. Unsafe driving or exhibition behavior will not be tolerated.

The following are prohibited:

• Burnouts

• Excessive revving

• Speeding

• Reckless driving

• Drifting, sliding, or tire spinning

• Sudden acceleration in crowded areas

• Stunt driving or any exhibition driving not specifically authorized by the event

• Cruising, looping, or repeated unnecessary vehicle movement through event areas

Vehicles must remain in their assigned display area unless directed otherwise by event staff. Repeated vehicle movement, cruising, or unnecessary driving through the event area is not permitted.

Sky High Expo reserves the right to relocate or remove any vehicle for safety, spacing, operational, or conduct-related reasons.

11. Vulgar, Offensive & Political Content Prohibited

Because the Sky High Expo Car Show is a family-friendly public event, participants and guests may not display or promote content that event management determines to be vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, inflammatory, offensive, or political in nature.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Signs, banners, decals, or flags

• Clothing or apparel

• Music or audio content

• Vehicle graphics or display materials

• Verbal conduct or messaging directed toward other guests or event staff

Sky High Expo reserves the right to require the removal or concealment of any display, item, or messaging that violates this standard. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

12. Respect for Airport Property & Event Operations

This event takes place on airport property and within an active aviation event environment. Participants must exercise caution and comply with all instructions relating to restricted areas, movement zones, safety boundaries, aircraft operations, and event logistics.

Participants may not:

• Enter restricted, barricaded, or staff-only areas

• Cross into any aircraft movement, staging, or protected operations area without authorization

• Obstruct access lanes, emergency routes, vendor routes, or event operations

• Create hazards to aircraft, pilots, airport property, or public safety operations

Any violation of airport or event operational boundaries may result in immediate removal from the event grounds.

13. Guests, Passengers & Family Responsibility

All participants are responsible for the conduct of their passengers, guests, family members, and anyone accompanying their vehicle or display area.

Sky High Expo reserves the right to remove any person or group whose conduct, language, music, intoxication, behavior, or display content is inconsistent with the family-friendly nature of the event.

14. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Participants

Sky High Expo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Refuse entry to any person, vehicle, or group

• Remove any person, vehicle, display, item, or setup from the event grounds

• Restrict activities that create safety concerns or operational disruption

• Deny participation to any individual who fails to follow event policies, staff instructions, or conduct expectations

This right may be exercised before or during the event and may be based on safety, behavior, noncompliance, operational concerns, prohibited items, or any circumstance event management determines to be inconsistent with the event’s standards.

15. Agreement to Terms

By registering a vehicle, entering the event, or attending the Sky High Expo Car Show, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Rules, Restrictions, and Participant Conduct Policies.

Sky High Expo reserves the right to interpret, enforce, revise, or apply these rules at its sole discretion as necessary to maintain safety, protect airport property, support event operations, and preserve the family-friendly nature of the event.

Failure to follow these rules may result in:

• Removal from the event grounds

• Revocation of participation privileges

• Denial of future event participation

• No refund of any registration or admission fees
